Founded in 2007, Connected Media provides residential and commercial customers with turn-key audio, visual and media services including home theatre design, TV installation, networking, multi-room audio, video distribution, home automation, lighting control, custom electronic shades, outdoor entertainment, surveillance systems and new construction wiring.

CHALLENGE

For the first decade in business, Connected Media had grown organically by word of mouth and client referrals. The company realized that they had not taken advantage of its extensive, existing customer base for additional sales revenue opportunities. In 2018 the company’s founder, Kenny Nordlund, decided he wanted to grow his business more strategically for the next decade. I’M NOT MAD AT YOU conducted an internal audit that included product Wheels Assessment Training (W.A.T.) interviews with all employees, a full financial and sales data review, as well as general observations.

SOLUTION

I’M NOT MAD AT YOU analyzed more than two years of sales data to better define and understand the sales and customer base. The information was critical in developing a strategic sales and marketing plan to help Connected Media better target existing and potential customers. The plan included a reward and incentive program for customers. Additionally, I’M NOT MAD AT YOU created a customer database that assisted Connected Media better target its marketing programs to potential customers.

RESULTS

After the sales and marketing strategy was completed and implemented, Connected Media has seen a 100 percent increase in comp sales year-to-date (Jan-April 2018 vs. Jan-April 2017). Additionally, Connected Media had a 101 percent return on investment with consulting services provided by I’M NOT MAD AT YOU.
