Brittany Inglish

Twenty-seven years old with a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, Brittany Inglish moved to Dallas to begin her job with Lockheed Martin. She was looking to find her footing, as a new hire in a new city, and reached out to I’M NOT MAD AT YOU to become BETTER.

CHALLENGE

Brittany felt that in various aspects of her life, she was struggling to stand up for herself and set proper boundaries.

She wanted to feel more confident and self-assured. In her own words, she was “trying to learn to not be too nice”, so she decided to enlist the services of a life coach.

After going through over a dozen potential advisors, Brittany decided to work with I’M NOT MAD AT YOU®’s Chief Belief Officer, Stacey Bullman, because of her career-driven approach and “tell you how it is” attitude.

Initially concerned that her coach wouldn’t be upfront about confronting her challenges, Brittany was happy to find that Stacey’s approach was direct and effective.

SOLUTION

Chief Belief Officer Stacey Bullman prioritized getting to know Brittany personally to tailor advice specific to her needs.

Stacey dug beneath the surface of the statement: “I want to be more confident” to confront the underlying challenges faced by her client. Stacey identified communication, boundaries, and confrontation to be the main challenges Brittany faced.

Brittany was impressed by how quickly Stacey was able to identify the underlying values behind her goals, allowing her to effectively evaluate her priorities.

“She’s really good at understanding what my priorities were, more than I’d realized myself.”

Brittany would relay challenges she’d faced recently by talking through them with Stacey. Stacey would then offer advice using Brittany’s personal goals as a reference.

This back-and-forth consulting allowed Brittany to set healthy boundaries in her personal life, and feel more comfortable communicating her needs to others.

Stacey also helped Brittany change her perspective by offering alternatives to negative observations. This helped develop her flexible thinking skills, bringing more positivity into her life.

RESULTS

Brittany reports having more confidence, self-esteem, and happiness in her day-to-day life:
